The mansion’s rich history includes a visit from President William Howard Taft, highlighting its prominence in the community. Kelly and Roger Myers purchased the property in summer 2007, embarking on a meticulous restoration to preserve its architectural integrity while converting it from a residential to a professional office space. The transformation, completed in February 2009, ensures that this historic structure continues to stand as a testament to Howell's architectural heritage.
