Mercy Health Norton Shores is a 41,500 s.f. medical office building located south of Muskegon and two miles from the Lake Michigan shoreline. This project is a result of the continued effort by the parent medical group to consolidate local existing practices into one building and add common specialty services such as Urgent Care, Pharmacy and Lab to round out the convenient patient experience.
With the ultimate goal of creating a flexible and identifiable brand-identity-architecture, the team came up with a language that incorporated a simple pallet of materials, simple forms, and rich interior spaces full of natural light and natural materials. From an abandoned parking lot to a patient focused, multi-specialty healthcare building, Mercy Health Norton Shores has emerged as a community leader, not only healing the community's physical health, but the built environment as well.
